The Last Salsa Mondays at Talara Baltimore

So much fun dancing at Talara’s in Baltimore tonight- my first time there and unfortunately, my last time there. Such a shame this venue is closing its doors with a wonderful decor, great wooden dance floor, delightful ambiance, and generously sized drinks! But Talara went out with a huge BANG overflowing with MUCHO well wishers and faithful supporters. The place was practically standing room only but me and the crew made it work carving out protected slots and worked out our dances with controlled small steps to some great classica I haven’t heard in ages mixed with some Mambo and Timba. Delightful surprise seeing Ronald Rios and William S. III Harrison! Met some cool new people- folks were extremely friendly. I even made my quota of asking 3 new people to dance and ended up created some magic on the dance floor with a cute tall guy named Michael- Thanks, dude! Big ups to Brandon Bachata, Nancy Salsa, Cedric Teamer for providing a regular Fabulous night every week for the Baltimore community. They already have a new spot lined up to fill the void and keep the good times rolling. Fun night thanks to my road dogs Brandon Carretero & Valerie Hernandez and friendly Baltimorians.
