Recap. Pura Vintage Salsa Festival in Richmond, VA NEVER FAILS TO SATISFY! Even though I had the wrong time for the shows and therefore me and Tommy Smith hit the road late, we still made the majority of the shows and that was WORTH IT! Loyal & Ryan (Pittsburgh) had Mad Flava, Latin Vintage Pro Team Dazzled as the Home Team, Cazike from DC Gave You Smooth Mambo Flyness, Philly’s Art in Motion Girl Group Sizzled, Masacote Slayed with a Timba Groove and Afro-Cuban Stylings and Julissa Cruz- Host Extraordinare- and her Partner Gordon Neil Brought Down the House with SICK Hiphouse Mambo Salsa Fusion!
Venue was quite charming. It was a theatre that had great hardwood floors that were medium fast- just the right speed for me! DC represented to the fullest- over 35 DC area Dancers came out to support Richmond. I’m proud to say DC Salseros are BEASTS!
Many good dances were had through out the night! Special Shout-outs to the Dances that stood out and the leads who ROCKED MY WORLD including One of my FAV dancers in EL Mundo Giovanni Roggiero, Loyal Martinez who worked me out good and proper, Roberto Carlos Rodriguez’s Fly Flavor, Mi Amor Brandon Carretero, Domeah Gisel Diva Lead Boss Lady, Brandon GingerBreadman Worthington who likes to play in his dance and make me work on my body rolls, Edwin Sorto Smooth Daddy, Up and Coming Pro David Cuevas, and the always Delightful Yoav Magid!
