Recap Sat, July 19, 2014. I got to The Salsa Room early to take the Beginner Salsa On2 class before the SOS 11YR Anniversary and All White Party taught by the Legendary Cobo Dance Company featuring James Cobo and Erin. Very basic class going over nuanced fundamentals and once again, I SOAKED IT UP LIKE I NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE! New perspective is Everything.
Big bonus- my 2nd dance of the night was with the Illustrious Mr. James Cobo himself. He put me through show pony antics and fancy challenging turnpatterns and I ate it all up with a huge sh*t eating grin. AND IT WAS FILMED!!! Once again, the early aggressive bird gets the worm.
The Rest of The Night was Fantastic! Thrilling Performance! Over 400 people, the majority dressed in their best summer whites! Lots of good dancing to be had!
